Landscape installation · Full yard redos

The whole yard, redone.

This is the core of what we do. Take a yard that’s tired, overgrown or still wearing the builder’s starter package, clear it out, and install a new one — beds, palms, plants, rock, sod and the paver work that ties it together.

(01)Overview

One visit, one estimate, one crew.

A full redo is a lot of moving parts: removal, bed layout, palms, layers of planting, edging, mulch or rock, sometimes sod, sometimes a path or a patio. Most people don’t want to manage four companies to get there.

With us, Craig walks the property with you, writes the estimate by hand on site, and the same crew does the install.

(02)Front yards
After: the same home with a row of foxtail palms, crotons and fresh mulch beds sweeping around the lawn

The first thing anyone sees.

Front yards get the most attention from neighbors, HOAs and you, every time you pull in. The usual problems: overgrown foundation shrubs hiding the windows, turf that never looks good in August, beds with no shape, and nothing with any height.

A typical redo pulls the old foundation planting, reshapes the beds into bigger, simpler curves, adds palms for height, and layers lower tropicals and groundcover in front. Lawn shrinks to the part you actually use — or goes away entirely, if you want a lower-water yard.

(03)Back & side yards

Where you actually live.

Backyards are about privacy, shade and the view from the lanai. Side yards are usually where good intentions go to die: a strip of dirt, the A/C unit, a hose, and a gate nobody can reach without stepping in mud.

Both are fixable. A screen of palms or a clumping hedge along the back line, a path where people actually walk, and planting that looks good from inside the pool cage — not just from the street.

Worth knowing before the visit

  • 01

    Timing

For the clients quoted on this site, front-yard redos took from a day and a half to a few days once work started. Yours depends on scope — Craig puts the schedule on the estimate.

  • 02

    Keep what’s good

Mature oaks, healthy palms and specimen plants are worth designing around. Craig will tell you what’s worth keeping before anything gets pulled.

  • 03

    Irrigation

New beds need water where the plants are. Existing sprinkler zones get looked at during the walk-through so the new layout isn’t left dry.

  • 04

    Cleanup

Clients have specifically mentioned the crew cleaning up at the end of each day. That’s the standard.

(07)Questions

Landscape Installation: common questions

01Do I have to redo the whole yard at once?
No. Plenty of people start with the front yard and come back for the back. Craig can sketch the whole property on the first visit so phase two fits phase one.
02Can you work around plants and trees I already have?
Yes, and often we should. Big oaks, healthy palms and established specimens are hard to replace. Craig will point out what’s worth keeping and what’s past saving.
03Is removal and haul-away included?
When the job calls for tear-out, it’s written into the estimate — you’ll see it before you agree to anything.
04Can I get rid of my grass entirely?
Yes. Clients on Siesta Key had us replace their front lawn with a xeriscape-style yard. Beds, palms, rock and drought-tolerant plants can replace most or all of a lawn.
