What we build
The driveway is most of what people see from the street. A paver drive replaces cracked concrete or a tired asphalt strip with a surface that is laid unit by unit, edged, and fitted to the house and the beds around it.
New driveways
Full replacement of an existing drive, or a new layout where the old one never worked: too narrow, awkward to back out of, or wrong for the way the house sits on the lot.
Circular motor courts
A loop drive with a planted island, so cars come in and leave without backing into the street. The island is a chance for palms, a specimen tree, or low planting that frames the front of the house.
Extensions and parking areas
A wider drive, a pad for a boat or an extra car, or an added parking area, tied into the drive you already have.
Matching existing pavers
When the drive is being extended, the goal is for the new section to look like it was always there. Where an exact match is not possible, a border or band can make the transition look intentional.
Because one crew handles pavers, palms, beds, lighting, and drainage, the drive can be built together with the planting around it instead of as a separate job. If the drive needs a low wall along one side, that is part of the same plan: see retaining walls.

Materials
Common choices for Gulf-coast driveways. The right one depends on the house, the budget, and what is already on the property.
- 01
Concrete pavers
The most common driveway choice, with many colors, sizes, and laying patterns.
- 02
Brick pavers
A classic look that suits older homes and traditional styles.
- 03
Natural stone
Stone such as travertine for a lighter, high-end finish.
- 04
Borders & banding
Contrasting borders and bands that frame the drive and break up large areas.

Drive, beds, and palms together.
Many driveway jobs turn into a front-yard renovation: the drive, the beds on either side, and the palms that frame the house, built by the same crew in one job.
Planning them together means the edges of the drive, the bed lines, and any landscape lighting are laid out once, and plants go in after the heavy work is done instead of getting driven over.
Worth thinking about before the visit
None of this has to be decided before you call. It just helps to have an opinion on a few things when Craig comes out to look.
- How the drive gets used. Number of cars, a boat or trailer, guests parking, and whether you back out or turn around.
- Color against the house. Roof color, trim, and the front door often decide which paver colors look right.
- Pattern and borders. A single pattern reads calm; borders and bands add definition on larger drives.
- What is in the way. Tree roots, irrigation heads, utility boxes, and low spots that hold water.
- Neighborhood rules. If there is an HOA, its guidelines on colors and materials.
Driveway questions
Straight answers. The specifics for your property come from the on-site look.
01How long does a paver driveway take to install?
It depends on the size of the drive, whether old concrete or asphalt has to come out, the base work the site needs, access for equipment, and the weather. Craig can give you a timeline for your driveway after the on-site look.
02Can you match the pavers I already have?
Matching existing pavers is one of the driveway jobs we take on. If you know the brand or color of the original pavers, that helps. Pavers that have weathered for years can look different from new ones of the same product, so we will talk through how close the match will be and options like a border where old meets new.
03Do I need a permit or HOA approval for a new driveway?
That depends on where the property is and on your neighborhood. Rules differ between the cities and counties in the area, and work near the street, such as the driveway apron, can have its own requirements. If you have an HOA, bring its guidelines to the on-site visit and we will talk through what applies.
04What does a paver driveway cost?
There is no single price, because it depends on the size of the drive, the pavers chosen, removing the old surface, the base work, and any borders or banding. You get a price for your driveway after the free on-site look.
05How do I look after a paver driveway?
Routine care is simple: sweep or rinse it, pull weeds in the joints early, and deal with oil or rust stains before they set. If joint sand washes out over time, it can be topped up. Ask at the walkthrough about anything specific to your pavers, including whether sealing makes sense.
06Can the driveway and front yard be done in the same job?
Yes. The same crew handles pavers, palms, beds, lighting, and drainage, so the drive and the planting around it can be planned and built together. See privacy planting and the project gallery for examples.
